In April 2023, the idea was born to build a boutique hotel in Payagala. After various negotiations with the construction company, the architect, and the lawyer, the construction of the boutique hotel began on December 24, 2023. Many setbacks followed, but after 12 months of hard work, Maggona Boutique Cottages was officially opened on December 29, 2024.
